The LR03 is built from Manganese, Graphite, Copper — a Zn-MnO₂ system at 1.5V, rated 1020mAh, about 10.3g. The material list belongs to this model's technical file, and the MSDS for the chemistry comes with the documentation set.
How long can a LR03 be stored?
Our storage statement for the LR03 reads: Five years under normal storage conditions. Keep the cells in the original packaging; the storage and transport guidance that applies to this 1.5V Zn-MnO₂ model goes out with the shipment paperwork.
Is the LR03 rechargeable?
No — the LR03 is a primary (non-rechargeable) cell. Charging a primary cell can cause leakage or rupture, so replace it rather than recharge it. If your application needs recharging, ask us for the rechargeable range.
