R03 is rated 400mAh — Capacity & Application duration test condition: 75Ω 4h/day to 0.9V @ 20±2℃. Service life in your device depends on the load and the cut-off voltage, so send us the device and we will size the cell for it.
What is inside a R03 battery?
The R03 is built from Manganese, Graphite — a Zn-MnO₂ system at 1.5V, rated 400mAh, about 7.5g. The material list belongs to this model's technical file, and the MSDS for the chemistry comes with the documentation set.
How long can a R03 be stored?
Our storage statement for the R03 reads: Three years under normal storage conditions. Keep the cells in the original packaging; the storage and transport guidance that applies to this 1.5V Zn-MnO₂ model goes out with the shipment paperwork.
Is the R03 rechargeable?
No — the R03 is a primary (non-rechargeable) cell. Charging a primary cell can cause leakage or rupture, so replace it rather than recharge it. If your application needs recharging, ask us for the rechargeable range.
