How do I identify a battery from the number on the old cell?
Buyers arrive holding a cell, not a part number. Enter what is printed on it — interchange numbers included — and we will point you to the equivalent TIANQIU model.
We do not list that number. Send us a photo of the cell or the battery holder — we read the diameter and thickness and reply with the equivalent and a spec sheet. Also produced on request: CR2477, CR1620, CR1616, CR1216, CR1212, LR1120 and other LR/AG sizes.
Same size does not always mean same cell: an LR (alkaline) and an SR (silver-oxide) of identical dimensions behave differently. Every result below states the chemistry, so you can check before you order. Looking for the whole picture — every equivalent number with the document it came from, plus a device-to-battery finder? Equivalent cell number FAQs
Three questions buyers ask before they quote an equivalent number: how the lookup works, what to send when a cell is not recognised, and why two numbers of the same size are not always the same battery. Each answer states what we check and what we send back.
