Private-Label Batteries for Retail and Supermarket Chains
Which brands do we already produce for?
The brands below are companies we manufacture for, or hold an authorisation, agency or distribution agreement with — the signed documents are shown on the about page. They are listed to show the shape of the work, not to imply anything about volumes or terms, which we do not publish.
- These are real supply relationships, not logos on a wall: PHILIPS (licensed manufacture), MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC (authorised agent in China), SEIZI Japan (sole agent, silver-oxide).
- Retail own-brands in the programme include TRONIC (Lidl), ACTIV ENERGY (ALDI) and A-FORCE (Action).
- Also in the brand set: Arcas, Alfacell, Foxter, Mars, Sunbeam, Tronic and Vigear.
- We do not publish order quantities, unit prices or delivery dates for any of them.
Which packaging formats can we print?
Button cells and cylindrical cells are packed on different lines, so the format choices differ. Button cells run on printed blister cards of 5 or 10 pieces, then into inner boxes and cartons. Cylindrical cells run as shrink-wrapped multi-packs, printed cards or bulk trays, depending on what your shelf needs.
| Cell type | Typical retail format | Inner box | Carton |
|---|---|---|---|
| Button cells (AG0 – AG13) | Printed blister card, 5 or 10 pcs | 200 pcs | 10,000 pcs |
| 12V cylinders (23A / 27A) | Printed blister card, 5 pcs | 100 pcs | 1,000 pcs |
| AA / AAA / C / D alkaline | Shrink multi-pack or printed card | By format | By format |
| 9V (6LR61 / 6F22) | Printed card, single or twin | By format | By format |
Every format above is printed to your artwork. We do not supply generic packaging with a sticker over it — send the dieline and we will run the proof cycle against it.
What sets the minimum order for a private-label run?
Three things together: the cell model, the packaging format and the print run. Packaging is usually the binding constraint, because a printed card has a setup cost that a bulk tray does not. Our first-order minimum is 50 cartons per product line, whatever format you choose.
- Cell model — a high-volume model like LR44 or CR2032 is easier to slot into a production run.
- Packaging format — a printed blister card with your artwork sets a higher minimum than a bulk tray.
- Number of SKUs — five models in one shipment is a different order from five models in five shipments.
- See the MOQ guide for the full list of what moves the number up and down.
Which markets do the cells ship to?
We currently export to 22 countries across Europe, the Americas, Africa, the Middle East and Southeast Asia, including the USA, Germany, Turkey, Spain, Brazil, Italy, South Korea, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Nigeria, Mexico, Indonesia, India, Vietnam, Russia, Poland, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Argentina and Colombia.
The TIANQIU trademark is registered under the Madrid Agreement in the USA, Germany, Japan, Turkey and Hong Kong.
What does a private-label project need from you?
Four things start a quotation: the models, the pack format, the artwork and the destination market. With those we can tell you the cell lead time, the print proof cycle and which certificates your market will ask for. Without them any price we gave you would be guesswork.
- Models and quantities per model.
- Pack format and, if printed, your dieline or artwork file.
- Destination market, so we quote the right compliance set.
- Whether the cells ship under your brand only, or you also need TIANQIU branding on the carton.
Frequently asked questions
Do you produce batteries under our brand instead of yours?
Yes — that is our standard OEM arrangement. We manufacture the cell and print your brand on the cell, the card and the carton. The cell specification is ours and the brand and packaging specification are yours.
Can you handle the artwork and proofing?
Send the dieline and we run the proof cycle against it. We print what you approve and record what we actually produced. If you do not have artwork yet, tell us the format and market and we will tell you what information the packaging has to carry.
What is the MOQ?
First orders start from 50 cartons per product line, for button cells and printed packaging alike. Cylindrical and pack formats are quoted per project — send the model and format and we will give you a number rather than a range.
Do you publish prices?
No. Pricing depends on the model, the format, the volume and the destination, so we quote per project. We also do not publish the terms of any existing customer relationship.
